Three more days to study :( Three more days to liberation :D:D:D

Complacency took two days worth of possible productive studying away from me. Whenever I wanted to study, I’ll keep thinking:

“It’s okay, I’ve got 6 days.”

“5 days.”

“4 days.”

“Omg, I’m only left with three more days?!! Arghhhhhh!”

So yeah, thats it I’m gonna start my hardcore studying tmr. And then everything’ll end on a Thursday afternoon at 3pm. Alright man, screw the results, I’m gonna enjoy myself after that. Grrrr this year has been sucha slutz.

Oh my, yesterday was super duper fun, jasnick striked again! After dinner at MOS BURGER yucks argh gross, we headed for some shopping fun. It was fun for me, not for him cos I was complaining and insulting him the whole time. Old man old man old man. Oh we got this guy to guess our age, mine was FIFTEEN and his was a NINETEEN.

Headed for supper at Gardens with Dan, Gerald and Shaoren since the girls couldn’t make it. I was too full to eat anything, thank god! Then went back to AMK to find Cyn who was mugging mugging mugging!

Today, studied with Xueting at Starbucks. Actually it was pretty productive since we were there for only a good 3 hours. Okay, tmr Imma go to school and study hard!

Studying at Holland V yesterday with Christine and Ang was so unproductive for me, I just kept reading the words over and over again. Couldn’t digest them. Argh, going to poly means I’ll be wasting two years. And I do not want that. Haha, so we went to town after that. Ah whatever, I love Christine Dan Tan. (Omg, Nick just asked me out for dinner! Set set!)

H2 Economics is over!

Last night was really productive studying with Warrioru, though I know it was somewhat impossible covering 60% of econs within 8 hours!! But the last hour was sooooo productive! It was just like the midyears, somehow we started to recap econs shiz on msn and we came up with so many acronyms to help us with memorising the stuff, i swear they helped like craaaaazy! So we decided to do it again, and well, it worked!!
Muffins, pancakes, bubbletea, cheeseburger, et cetera = FATZ :O

Okay, today’s economics, let’s just say i missed out on 18 marks worth of questions but i’m still fast holding onto the belief that I’ll subpass this! I’m hopingz.
I have no idea why I was in such great spirits today. But it definitely felt good, no longer the worrywort you saw before history paper. Now, I’m making the decision which should have been made half an annual ago. This time, friends are not gonna affect my choice. I just want to do something I like. If I had based my choice on this not so long ago, perhaps I wouldn’t be in this dilemma I am in today. I really have no idea what life has in store for me. I look forward to it yet dread it at the same time.

I just think it’s really brave of Ru to make a decisive act upon her life now. It’s like dy/dx = 0 (i think it’s math) in her life. Yes she’s going Lasalle/Raffles to take designs after this. Never expected that warrioru I knew to be so artistically inclined. I’m glad she got out of blindly following Xinya’s and decided to do something about her future. When she was telling me about her plans at Coffeebeans, I just couldn’t help but throw in words of dissuasion. It just struck me later after that that perhaps doing my A’s and to study about all these bullshit Economics (which we unanimously agree that it’s just common sense nicely phrased into sentences), about ASEAN and Southeast Asia (Malaysia can get more irritating than this), about Rocks and how they are formed (seriously, who gives a damn) was not what I should be doing. I should be.. having fun hehe. Whatever, I’ll just leave it here for now.

The short studying session in school just now was good, thank god I gave night study a miss! Ah shit, pokerz is damn freaking addictive. Facebook is everyone’s nemesis I swear. Maths tmr, Jasmine go go! I can’t wait for Starbucks session with dearest BSF(upgraded!), Angz and Xueting tmr!

Ok finally, a breather. I cant believe my predicament – I thought when the time came for me to study, I would. But I didn’t. Don’t know what I was thinking/doing when I had all the time in the world to study. Why Jasmine, stop procrastinating. Can’t help it. Yesterday: I looked at the piles of historical content. Took them out, looked at them, started crying. Placed them aside, took out another stack and tried to read them. Couldn’t stop crying. I just swept the whole pile away from me, I just wanted them as far away as I could, I didn’t want to read those words. I couldn’t. They are crazy. They scare me, urgh, go away.

No prizes for guessing who is gonna fail history. Not to mention the fact that despite having no contents in my head, I even had a mental block and lost all ability to waffle and bullshit my way through. That explains that one-sided page of two paragraphs for a 25 mark question.

But it’s okay, I told my mom of my plans. She’s supportive. So I’m good. The moment they found out that I’d cried in my room the other day, they got all panicky. My granny and mother went straight out to buy me bottles of chicken essence. Hilarious. Omg, I so love them! Yeah, and they are going to a temple tonight..

So yes, the studying I did this year can totally beat the studying I did for the rest of my life! That’s how bad it is. Hope it pays off, somehow. I still think I’m not doing enough though. Ok drop it I hear you say, I think I had enough and so did you.

Yesterday was pretty good though I was pretty much in a foul mood. Sometimes, you never have to express your unhappiness verbally to them but your Friends will somehow manage to cheer you up, well at least mine do. They are fucking awesome. Finally submitted our written report to Ms Yoong today, that just took a load of tons off my back. Complained enough already.

Headed to Covo Bistro after school with Grace, Ru and Nijump! The food was delectable, the ambience was phat and the guy serving us was so quirky and funny! After serving us three our desserts, he told Ru that they ran outta desserts and that she had to share with us. Ru totally fell for it, and she looked so sad!! Oh oh we had a really fun chat about childhood days! “YOU THEN!!”

Then after that I headed back to school to find that night study was cancelled, so I left for Yishun to meet Christine, Xueting and Jocelyn at Starbucks! Omg we were so tempted to just go home, change and head down to some chillout place like Holland V or something.

Me and Ru were discussing about our future! What do you of me being an events planner?! I wanttttttt! She’s gonna be the owner of one of the coolest bistro in the Singapore man! I’m sure!

STUDYING

Weird how I’ve gotten myself into this study mood. I realised that it’s the first time I’m feeling this way: this serious motivation to study. I don’t think I’ve ever been more hardworking that I am now. Not that I’m extremely hardworking now, but yes I was really that lazy in the past. Grrrr, I hope this will last. Muggerzxzx. Now I feel a surge of guilt and uneasiness all over me whenever I don’t study. Eeeeks it’s freaking me out.

This whole week was really good! I’ll go night study on alternate even days with Buddy and Novena Starbucks with Christine on alternate odd days. So damn productive! :D:D I’ll start with Monday. After lemon chicken with Shao, Dan, Buddy and Shaun at Coro, I made my way down to Novena to meet Christine for some hardcore intensive studying!! Ok not quite there yet, but yes it was work done! She’s a good study buddy! The following day, night study with Buddy, Cephas and Mingxuan. I had balls of fun, very actionpacked! Wednesday was studying with Danielle, a.k.a Christine. (I dont have much friends, do I?) Today was back to night study again. Good good! Hopefully I’m able to finish everything up on time. There you have it, my “night life”.

Yesterday was wild. Today’s wilder. After a short studying session at Gardens macs with Dan and Warrior yesterday, the devil Shaoren came along and brought us to Dan’s for a round of Poker. USING MONOPOLY MONEY. Like who’ll think of that! Shao’s abusing his intelligence by using them on the wrong things, really. He proceeded to pwn all of our asses, and won all of bogus money in one round. And then two more rounds of random “All In”. Oh yes if you’re wondering, I’m hooked.

So we decided that tonight, we shall meet again for more Poker after a session of hardcore studying in the day. Apparently my studying wasn’t that much of hardcore. But yes, flew over to Shao’s at night to meet the guys. Wow, we had more players this time: Gerald, Randall, BuddyBen and Timsum. Woohoo, we munched on Famous Amos’, marshmellows and chips (as in potato chips, dont be a freak) as we played. It was as though promos were over! PARTY TIME! Yeah, I’m wishing. Randall lost so badly that he had to team up with Timsum. Ohwell, buddy totally beat all of us! It was WILD like seriously! He had so much money that he played one round with 1000bucks without even referring to his cards. Then all the guys started to think of all the possible ways to use the monopoly money if it was real. Keep dreaming yall. More poker after midnight with Warrior on facebook. WTF I ought to be shot, seriously. Whatever no more poker from now till end of promos, Jasmine. You cant get hooked now. (I think I’m beginning to understand how Nick feels when he was addicted to Poker last year during O’s)

On a side note, I can’t put into words how happy I am to see my BFF back on her feet again. SO DAMN FREAKING PROUD OF HER YOU KNOW. It’s like whoa, she’s not doing anything silly anymore. That means I can worry less! I get really frustrated to see her wallowing in self-pity. But now, I can be sure that she’s so much stronger than I am! Perhaps I should go through some sort of ordeal that trains my mental strength too. I have a strong feeling mine’s really weak. On second thought, scrap that, I’m doing fine.
